Meet The Team

During her years in dental school, Dr. Cheng attended special training in pediatric dentistry at Scottish Rite Children’s Hospital in Dallas, Texas. She graduated with prestigious Dean’s Honor.
Dr. Cheng is a fellow member of Georgia Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, Academy of General Dentist, American Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and Chinese Medical Association. She has been practicing dentistry in Taiwan and Atlanta for over 25 years.

Dr. Cheng has completed extensive general and cosmetic dentist trainings in the fields of:

• Implant Dentistry
• Invisalign
• Endodontic Treatment
• Periodontal Surgery
• Prosthetics

Born in Huntsville, Alabama and raised in Southern California, Dr. Shin has made his way all around the nation. He earned his Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree at the University of California, Berkeley and his
Master of Science (M.S.) degree at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Dr. Shin then went from the West Coast to the Midwest to pursue his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) degree at the #1 ranked dental
school, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Following his dental training, he was accepted into New York Medical College and completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. As chief resident, he trained
extensively in maxillofacial trauma, dentoalveolar surgery, dental implants, anesthesia, pathology, reconstructive surgery and orthognathic surgery. In addition to multiple journal publications in the field of dentistry and biochemistry, he presented at several national research conferences in the field of dentistry and experimental biology. Dr. Shin is excited to be a part of a practice that allows him to provide the kind of personalized patient care for which he is known. Careful attention to patient concerns and answering all questions thoroughly is his standard of approach to patient care.

Outside of patient care, Dr. Shin loves cooking, swimming, cycling, trivia, and most of all, spending time with his wife and children. You may find him and his family at your local spot enjoying the sites and sounds of Atlanta. Dr. Shin is interested in getting to know his community and looking forward to learning more about you.

Dr. Abochhab is dedicated to his patient’s complete dental care and committed to provide the highest levels of preventive, restorative, and aesthetic care. He is a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, and Georgia Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. Dr. Abochhab continues to further advance his skills through ongoing educational dental courses. His goal is to enhance his patients’ quality of their dental needs.

Dr. Abochhab enjoys all aspects of dentistry, specifically oral surgery and cosmetic dentistry.

Afterwards, Dr. Do attended the Medical College of Georgia (now known as Augusta University) to obtain his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree. He was again active in many activities in school and around the community including giving violin lessons at the Jessye Norman School of the Arts and being a liaison for the International Student Exchange Program. Upon graduation, Dr. Do was inducted into the Alpha Upsilon Phi Honors Society for his leadership and community contributions.

Dr. Do immediately went into private practice and came to Dr. Cheng’s office in June 2015. He maintains a busy working schedule and takes continuing education courses to stay up-to-date with modern advances in dentistry. His main interests include cosmetic dentistry, oral medicine, and oral pathology.

In his spare time, Dr. Do enjoys playing tennis (he is a huge fan of Rafael Nadal) and cooking. He is also an avid runner, participating in several half marathons and his first marathon in 2014 in Chicago. Furthermore, he is a self-proclaimed “foodie”, lover of fiction and classical musician. He currently plays viola with the Gwinnett Symphony Orchestra. But most of all, Dr. Do lives for international travel and tries to visit new foreign countries as often as possible.
Additionally, Dr. Do is the youngest of 5 and uncle of 11.

Dr. Beck receives a tremendous amount of satisfaction while striving to provide the best dental care to his patients. He believes that a positive experience in the dental office can change someone’s life – someone who once had dental anxiety may develop confidence in their smile and their dental health through positive experiences during their dental care.

Dr. Nguyen places emphasis on diagnosis, prevention, and complete dental care for all of her patients. She attends continuing education courses throughout the year to advance her knowledge and skills to provide the best available care for her patients. She takes pride in providing quality and the most gentle as possible dental care.
